BGK9 is also the first K9 company in the world to separate the cost of the dog from the warranty—allowing agencies and clients to select warranty coverage based on their specific operational needs. Our Facility

BGK9 operates a dedicated 80,000-square-foot training facility designed to support full-spectrum K9 instruction and deployment preparation—all under one roof. This purpose-built location reflects our commitment to realism, safety, and tactical readiness.

The facility includes:

• An indoor parking garage for vehicle searches and extractions in any weather

• Mock training spaces with isolated narcotics and explosives zones to prevent cross-contamination

• On-site kennels and climate-controlled classrooms for handler instruction and canine care

• Dedicated areas for green dog testing, air cargo simulations, and operational scenario training

Our instructional team includes more than 30 trainers, ranging from K9-specific experts to professionals with backgrounds in tactical operations and deployment strategy. Many hold certifications from UPWDA, NAPWDA, USPCA, and other nationally recognized law enforcement associations. Several instructors have worked directly with federal agencies including the Department of Homeland Security and Department of Defense, and BGK9 also utilizes vetted part-time instructors with verified operational backgrounds to support specialized courses and workshops.

We take instructor credibility seriously. Every trainer’s experience is thoroughly vetted to ensure they have served in a working dog capacity—whether through government contracts, law enforcement deployments, or private sector tactical operations. We do not allow instruction from individuals who lack verified experience in handling, training, or leading working dog programs. This ensures our courses are taught by professionals who have operated in real-world environments and bring relevant expertise to every class.

Our executive leadership brings decades of tactical experience across a range of high-threat environments, including combat zones, protective service details, and interdiction missions. While not all roles were canine-specific, each member has worked alongside or directly with K9 teams in operational settings—contributing to mission planning, deployment strategy, and program development. Their backgrounds span domestic operations and global deployment environments, offering firsthand insight into the demands placed on working dog teams in real-world scenarios. This depth of experience informs every course we offer, ensuring that our curriculum is grounded in practical application and operational relevance.
